Checklists & templates

Open planning worksheets to download, print and complete.

These templates are free to read and download, with no sign-up required. They gather project inputs; they are not approved engineering, installation or acceptance documents. Product catalogues and project-specific technical documents can be requested separately.

MDF vs plywood

Choose a board for the job it performs: cabinet box, door, shelf or decorative panel. MDF and plywood are material families, not complete performance specifications. Compare the actual grade, thickness, finish and intended use before deciding.

Cabinet dimensions

Record what each dimension measures, which units it uses and whether it is provisional or verified. Cabinet-box height is not finished worktop height, and a product example is not a universal market standard.

Custom cabinet RFQ checklist

A useful cabinet RFQ states what is known, what remains open and which documents define the project. Give suppliers the same room schedule and specification so they can identify assumptions and quote comparable scopes.

Bathroom vanity materials

Choose a bathroom vanity as a complete assembly. The box, doors, finish, edges and basin interfaces all need a defined specification. A label such as plywood, MDF or moisture-resistant does not establish that the finished vanity suits your room.

Hidden vs flush doors

A flat or flush door leaf does not automatically create a hidden doorway. Ask what is meant by “flush”: the face of the leaf, its position relative to the frame, or alignment with the finished wall. Specify the frame, leaf, hardware and wall relationship together.
